There is a takeback option. When you create a game for someone you have the choice of rated, unrated, & unrated/takebacks.

I could have used that in Blitz - either for a refill or a body empty making room - it would be like the "pause" in a real-time video game.
Why would you want Chess.com to lend you some alcholic drink?
