Windows Phone 8 Beta Testers Needed

Really good update :) Things to do in next versions:

- Fix the error I've reported by email

- Fix wrong rating shown during Live games for the both sides

- Add rated/unrated option and rating range control

- Add premove option in Live Chess

- Add "Live" word before the Live Chess time controls in Play Screen (as it is with "Daily")

- Enable Chat in Live Chess

- Enable Live Tile (again) and add push notifications

Good to have live chess, some things obviously need improving. The notification tile that appears at the end of the game blocks out about 40% of the screen which cant be removed so if you find yourself lost by checkmate you can't see the final move that won. Also I notice that seeking a live game such as 5 min can take a long time to get paired, are the pool of available players restricted for the beta version?

Live chess seems great, definitely a good job!

New bug: After getting checkmated with a premove in a Daily Game, the window that appears doensn't say anything (it only shows the buttons "Rematch", "New game" and "Analyse"). Please check that.

PS. Searching a game in Live Chess is maybe taking more than in web version. Check that too, please.

How can I have beta version? Is it enough an email address?

Yes. Write here your Microsfot Account and your device name. Then, after the staff updates the app with your account, you will be able to download the beta from the url that is in the first page of this forum.

Have tried to play many games with 5/0 time control and then get paired with opponent and am playing black, I wait for white to move first and wait and wait then get message that game has been aborted by server.

It is normal behaviour. The server aborts the game that hasn't been started yet very quickly. The game(and clock) will start only after the first moves from white and black.

I guess pre-move would be a good feature to add next. Finding a player sometimes seems to take a lot of time but other than that it's ok.

You should promise that premove will be tested properly :D

Noticed a problem when a game was drawn. My time kept going and when it reached zero it started increasing. I had to quit the app, though I didn't test what the resign button would do.
