Pardon if this topic's isn't new, .....

Is there a way, or someplace where regular #40 move in 2.5 hr. games/tournaments can be found, or started.  I've been a 10 min. game player for decades. ... Even 1 day/move tournaments frustrate me to death. I just resigned an 8th move tournament game because my opponent would wait for nearly the full 24 hrs. to move.

Would appreciate direction, or requirements to get this format implimented.

I don't think that format exists here... there's nothing about move numbers at all.  You can start time based controls such as 150 minutes, but there is no control on the number of moves.
