A - I'm a very responsible player. Re B - if you stay, you probably have higher chances to lose rating, since if you quit, the games you miss don't count as rated.

A!.... I look at it at a different angle. I choose "A"... AND im happy (Sooo... A + 1/2 B?)
Since I play in a lot of tournys and matches, I always have some good and bad. The bad is usually where my opponents are way out of my league. Recently, I "visited" the 2000+ rating level and... as a result, was pulled from the 1800-2000 chess.com tourny and placed into the 2000-2200 tourny. Result... I got a another chance to play some really good players and a chance to learn/ get better (yes.. that equaled a lot of lost games).
A, fight for every last point!

I entered 50 tournaments, and one of them sticks out. It's a 100 person tournament in groups of 2.
