VACATION in a "QUICK Knockout" Tournament?????

I can't understand that players enter this tournament and 23 hours after the tournament started go on VACATION. In our group of the other 5 players only 4 games of the 20 is not finished by now that give us 80% finished. With his player included only 16 of the 30 games is finished that give us 53%. I don't mind people go on vacation but don't enter so we can enjoy our chess.
