Bad lucky, I only got a Wm 6.5 !
Beta code for online chess using Windows Phone 7

Not at this time. It's not something we're actively working on right now, so I'm afraid there's no ETA on a more robust version.

Michael, have you guys looked at MobileBit's framework/api/gui Delta Engine? It's pure Win/.NET (but I wasn't thrilled that Rhomobile is entirely Ruby either... :)

Sorry to see this.
I am planning on purchasing a Nokia 900 when it becomes available in March, and I was looking forward to a chess.com app being released in the near future. I understand the problem with devoting resources to a project that only a tiny percentage of your users care about, but it's still dissappointing.
For what it's worth, I came to this site by way of the Palm webOS app (a mobile OS with a much smaller user base than WP.) I subsequently purchased a membership (which I am considering upgrading) and recommended this site to at least 15 people as a great place to play.

Agree with arkyarky9. Im not always near the PC, but im almost always with my smartphone. By the way WP7 seems like a very nice platform. With "cheaper" tango devices im sure it will take its market share.
While there is currently no chess.com app, there is a 3rd party client app for Windows Phone 7 that is currently in beta test.

At this point, it's a bit rough, but try it out and let us know what you think!
Currently, supports making moves in online chess games (not Live).
