CSC 2013 Round 1

Happy new year everyone. As you probably already know it is time for CSC 2013 to start and in a matter of fact I have already done the pairings and games are ready to start. It was only 14 teams that registered for CSC 2013 which is a decrease from 18 that registered last year. This doesn't only mean that there will be no qualifier round, but also a decrease from 5 rounds to only 4. It may in matter of fact finnish at about the same time as CSC 2012.  I have decided to make the format like this.

Round 1: 14 teams divided in groups of 3 (4 in 2 groups). Top 2 teams advance

Round 2: 8 teams divided in groups of 2. Winner advance

Round 3: 4 teams divided in groups of 2. Winner advance

Final round: Winners from round 4 play for champion. Losers from round 4 play for bronze.

This means that the special rule I made for CSC 2013 will be used, so in the groups with 4 players there will only be 1 game/opponent while in the other groups it will be 2 games/opponent.
