    I think this fairs better than when it is played against e4 as black is not delayed from playing the crucial move of Kf7 and subsequential moves to, like in the Barnes Defense, build a fortess around the king or be played in other possible ways as white still hasn't moved a pawn to claim the center. Here's how it can be played:
