At Agincourt, the French were slaughtered by the English. Seeing how c4 is an "English move" and e6 is a "French move", the name of this opening would imply Black's move was a bad idea...

Might be an option in the future for me, but at the moment I prefer 1...f5.

D4 is certainly workable though, although I much prefer the lines that come from 2.g3
