Ohh :)
Yes! After the move I had thought I had just lost the queen for nothing.
Hey Just a second! what you mean because I didn't see anything????!!!?
Heh Heh, Okay. thats good explaination... (Or just maybe...)
lol. good game!
daxternator :
To be honest: Because I didn't see anything.
sebs42: wht dont ya move 5.Bg6# ?
Don't forget that computers are waaay too materialistic. I think that black somehow managed to play a reversed King's Gambit, without the tactical complications of the Latvian. I'll definitely give it a try.
@cubnoble That's odd, but does not look bad for black.
How I was taught the Fred's was ...
And the Computer analysis says it is even.
named after Czech IM Oldrich Duras (1882-1957)
next, someone's gonna try out 1.e4 g5 2.d4 f6
"This opening is therefore refuted" - assuming the computer is right. I have beaten more than one computer with this opening... btw can anyone tell me when and where someone decided this was called the Duras Gambit? I've always known it as the Fred.
No, after 3.g4 black plays e6...
Well there's a relatively easy opening to try out if you're white to counter this silly idea....
Actually, after it's accepted, 3. Bd3 seems to keep the material lead for white.
but against e4 instead of d4. ^ _ ^
