20/20 Champions League, Round 1: PCS v Harvard

The PCS Chess Club is currently playing in the 2020 Champions League, an international online tournament in which clubs play once a month. On Nov. 6, PCS Chess played in Round 1 against Harvard University.  Seven PCS students from Forrest Lake ES, Dunedin Highland MS, Oldsmar ES, Lakewood HS, and Northeast HS played in the match on Nov 7.  Although our members may have been outmatched in terms of chess ratings, they gained valuable experience and gave Harvard students a run for their money!
