Checking-in

Dear chess players,

Please note that, effective Thursday April 7, round-checking-in will not be needed anymore. This means that once you are signed-up for a tournament, you will automatically be paired for each round. It will bind on each player to ask for a BYE in case that player can't play. This can be done by sending a message to me or by posting a comment in the related «I request a BYE» forum of the tournament group.

There was some reasons why we needed to check-in for each round. But I think that the disadvantages of such a measure may well outweight the benefits, after all.
