Congratulations for August 20!

Congratulations to my amazing students!
~Josh Thomadsen who had a great ladder event on Saturday, defeated a higher-rated opponent and reached a new rating high of 1239!!
~Aryan Bezawada who won all of his games in the Thursday night tournament hosted by the Chess Cardinals Club, including a game against a much higher-rated opponent. He gained more than 100 rating points and reached a new rating high of 1045!! He has now gained almost 300 rating points in the past 3 months!!
~Sparsh Panja who had two good events this weekend, including a win a against a higher-rated opponent. He raised his rating to 1472!!
~Anagha Mukil who had a great tournament on Thursday, defeated a higher-rated opponent, and raised her rating!
