Congratulations for August 27!

Congratulations to my amazing students for incredible performances at the Indianapolis Open this weekend:
~Sudeep Vadderaju who defeated two higher-rated opponents and reached a new rating high of 1940!!
~Alvin He who defeated three higher-rated opponents and reached a new rating high of 1754!!
~Sujay Sureshkumar who tied for third place out of 43 people in his section! He reached a new rating high of 1679 and won $250 in the process!!
~Abhinav Rao who played against higher-rated opponents in every round, finished with 3.5 points out of 5, and won $100 in the process!! He also reached a new rating high of 1608!! He has now gained almost 300 points in the last 5 tournaments!!
~Evan Jin who defeated two higher-rated opponents and reached a new rating high of 1486!!
