Congratulations for August 7!

Congratulations to my amazing students:
~Evan Jin who defeated two much higher-rated opponents in the St. Louis Open! He followed that by finishing first in the Monday Night tournament hosted by Chess Cardinals Club! He reached a new rating high of 1472 and has now gained 450 rating points in the past 6 months!! He is also currently rated in the top 40 in the country for his age!
~Sujay Sureshkumar who defeated a much higher-rated opponent in the St. Louis Open and raised his rating to 1634!
~Adithya Ganesh who drew against 4 higher-rated opponents in the St. Louis Open and reached a new rating high of 1544!!
~Abhinav Rao who defeated on much higher-rated opponent and drew against another and reached a new rating high of 1480!!
~Sudeep Vadderaju who played in the highest section of the St. Louis Open, finished with a winning record, tied for sixth place, and won money!!
~Ishaan Sinha who had a great Thursday Knights tournament at the St. Louis Chess Club and another great tournament on Mondays hosted by the Chess Cardinals Club! He reached a new rating high of 1449 and has now gained almost 350 rating points in less than 3 months!!
~Soham Gadi who had a good Monday tournament and reached a new rating high of 1164!!
