Congratulations for February 19

Many congratulations to my amazing students!!
~Adithya Ganesh who tied for first place out of 45 people in the K-12 section of the Scholastic tournament this Saturday! He won all of his games and reached a new rating high of 1204!
~Ishaan Sinha who tied for first place out of 89 people in the K-6 section of the Scholastic tournament! He won all of his games and gained 60+ rating points!
~Tejas Kota who tied for seventh place out of 89 people, with 3 points out of 4, defeated a much higher-rated opponent, and reached a new rating high!
~Jacob Corbett and Eli Samovski who also tied for seventh place. They both gained rating. Jacob defeated an opponent rated 600 points higher, gained 180 points, and reached a new rating high
~Sparsh Panja, Evan Jin, and Avyukt Gupta who all also finished with 3 points out of 4
~Aryansh Tripathy who defeated a higher-rated opponent and gained rating
~Aryan Bezawada who reached a new rating high in the Thursday tournament hosted by Chess Cardinals
~Hithesh Manojkumar who finished first out of 23 people in his group on Thursday, gained more than 100 rating points, and reached a new rating high
~Shreyas Kota who won his quad in the Friday tournament at St. Louis Chess Club
~Yash Shelar and Shreyas Kota who won their matches in the weekly high school chess league
