Congratulations for January 11

Congratulations to my amazing students for great performances in the Thursday Night tournament hosted by the Chess Cardinals Club:
~Hovin He who won 2 out of 3 games, defeated a higher-rated opponent, and reached a new rating high!! He has now gained 452 rating points in less than 3 months!!
~Simon Lu who defeated two much higher-rated opponents and gained more than 100 rating points
~Anagha Mukil who won 2 out of 3 games, defeated a much higher-rated opponent, and raised her rating to 1092!!
~Shrinithi Sureshkumar who won all 3 of her games and reached a new rating high!! She has now gained more than 300 points in less than 2 months!
~Avyukt Gupta who won 2 out of 3 games
