Congratulations to my amazing students for great performances at the Monday Nights tournament hosted by the Chess Cardinals Club

~Divish Dhanalakota who finished in first place out of 27 people, defeated a higher-rated opponent and raised his rating to 1418!!

~Aaryan Srivastava who won all of his games, defeated two much higher-rated opponents, and reached a new rating high of 1192!! He has now gained almost 300 points in the past month!!

~Varun Kamesh who defeated two higher-rated opponents, one much higher-rated than him!! He reached a new rating high of 1232!! He has now gained 332 rating points in the past 5 months!!

~Advika Srivastava who defeated a much higher rated opponent and reached a new rating high!!

~Meghna Mukil who had a good tournament and gained rating!!
