Congratulations for October 14!

Congratulations to my amazing students for great performances in today's scholastic tournament:
~David Zhang who finished second out of 85 people, defeated a much higher-rated opponent, gained almost 100 rating points and reached a new rating-high!
~Aryan Bezawada who tied for third place!
~Rayden Lin who only lost 1 game, gained 150+ rating points and reached a new rating high!
~Varun Kamesh who won all 3 of his games (he had to leave early)!
~Hovin He who defeated two much higher-rated opponents and gained almost 150 rating points! He also reached a new rating high!
~Sidney Corson who defeated several higher-rated opponents, gained 141 rating points, and reached a new rating high!
~Charlotte Wang who finished with a plus-score and reached a new rating high!
~William Sun who finished with a plus-score!
