Congratulations for September 10

Congratulations to my amazing students!
~Sudeep Vadderaju who won his group in the Friday Night tournament hosted by the St. Louis Chess Club with a perfect score, beating several tough opponents in the process! He followed that by finishing in second place in the Saturday Night tournament! He won money in both events!
~Evan Jin who defeated an opponent rated 200+ higher in the Saturday Night ladder event and reached a new rating high of 1520!! He is now rated in the top 35 in the country for people his age!
~Ishaan Sinha who had an amazing ladder event! He defeated or drew against several higher-rated opponents, gained almost 100 rating points and is now rated 1380!!
~Josh Thomadsen who defeated a higher-rated opponent and reached a new rating high of 1257!!
~Varun Kamesh who defeated an opponent rated 300 points higher in the Friday Night event
