Congratulations to Alvin and Mark!

Special congratulations to my student Alvin He who won all of his games in the June Knights! He finished in first place, crossed 1700, and won $100! Incredible!!! 

Special congratulations to my student Mark Li for an amazing performance in a Saturday Night tournament in the St. Louis Chess Club! He played against higher-rated opponents in every round and finished with 3.5 points out of 4!! He defeated a National Master! He finished in second place, ahead of 3 National Masters! And he gained about 200 rating points!
