COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 OPEN LEAGUE ROUND 5 vs SOMERSET WYVERN

Bath - a truly magnificent Georgian city.

Last season, we defeated Somerset Wyvern 19.5 -17.5 (17 boards) in a tight match on our way to the Division 2 title. SW finished third and clinched the final promotion spot.

Going into this match, the results and standings are comparable: both on 2 points, 1 won, lost 0, with 3 in play; TFS has the superior SB and win % ranking 2nd, Somerset is 6th. But it's still early days, and no team in the tournament has secured more than a single victory.

We have both played Glamorgan and Dorset. TFS won against the Welsh county, whereas Somerset lost against the same opponents. Somerset has defeated Dorset, and we are well-placed to secure another win.
