Jam Rescheduled - PreState April 25 - Speed Chess Tonight

The Goat of Doom appeared today when Chess.com crashed, right in the middle of the first round of Chess Jam!  So sad.  We've rescheduled Chess Jam for Saturday, May 9, so mark your calendars.

NEWS! The State Chess Warm-Up Tournament is next Saturday, April 25.  It's free, and they have prizes!  So consider playing in it!  You must sign up before Wednesday at 5pm.  Details at https://wsecc.org/index.php/wsecc-warm-up-event-4-25-free/ .

Since Chess.com crashed on our Chess Jam today, I've scheduled a just-for-fun speed chess tourney for tonight (Saturday) at 7pm, 5-round Swiss, no-elimination, for those who want to play, sign up between 6pm and 7pm: https://www.chess.com/live#t=1196094 . One big open section for players K-12 (sorry parents!)  Should last about an hour.
