The Kraken
Welcome to The Kraken, a free online scholastic chess club for students K-12 in Northwest Washington. Parents are welcome to join also, not to play but to encourage, watch and learn with their kids. To join, see directions below.
We provide a place where local youth can find and play chess with other local players.
The Kraken is directed by Randy Kaech, Randy.Kaech@ferndalesd.org (a.k.a. MooseMouse).
To join The Kraken: Set up your Chess.com account. Come back here, find and click the JOIN button on this page. In the message space, include your first name, school and grade before you click SUBMIT. Our forum will have a club directory which you can use to see who you're playing against.
