MINUTES

Attendance:  Charles Aldrich (Vice-President), Brian Beecher (Advisor), Ben Fallon, Ryan Hauri, Megan Lueck, Melissa Lueck (Secretary), Josiah Stone (President).

1. Attendance.
2. Meeting called to order at 12:34 p.m.
3. Minutes Approved / Agenda approved.
4. Old Business.       
   1. Nick French’s Opening Lecture.

                                                              i.      The Large Lecture Hall is available for Nick’s lecture on chess openings.  Date is still to be determined.

   1. Jordan’s pricelist of wish list items: tabled.
   2. Chess.com

                                                              i.      Tournament 3 is about to start.

                                                            ii.      Janesville Craig Challenge: tabled.

   1. Turkey Tournament (day after thanksgiving)

                                                              i.      Charles can get gift certificates.  Brian needs to get a letter to Taco Bell and Old Country Buffett asking for prize donations.

1. New Business.
   1. New Time for Chess Club Business Meetings.

                                                              i.      Because of classes, it was recommended to start chess club meetings at 12:15 instead of 12:30.  A unanimous vote approved the new meeting time.
