Chess University Members,
We are thrilled to announce that live online chess lessons with two-way voice capabilities are coming soon. Up until now, students only had the option to communicate with instructors through the chat box. But soon, students will have the option to use both text and/or voice to communicate during live lessons. We believe this will boost student engagement and make the lessons more fun!
Announcing the trial run:
The first two-way voice live lesson will be taught by FM Arne Jochens on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 from 12:00-1:00 PM Pacific Time (PDT). Arne will offer forcing moves training using his recent games. The target audience is 1000-1500 Elo.
Because this lesson serves as a test, there is no tuition fee. Instead, we are providing this as a reward to students who help our new ChessVL site get off the ground. Hence, this first lesson will be invite-only and only those who have spent at least $50 at ChessVL by October 17th will receive an invitation to this lesson.
40 chess courses are now available through ChessVL. If you haven't spent much time on ChessVL now, be sure to browse through our courses this weekend and sign up for a few to get a free ticket to the two-way voice class.
