Online chess tournament with prizes
In order to encourage my private students to work more on chess while also giving them more experience playing longer games, I want to organize an online chess tournament:
- Participation is free
- Only for my private students
- Students will be put in groups of 6, based on their rating. You play everyone in your group once.
- I will provide the prizes for group winners
- Time control will be Game in 60 minutes. All the games will be played on chess.com It will be the responsibility of the participants to arrange the times which work best for them. I will set up a group on chess.com dedicated just to that.
- To prevent using computers, I will analyze all the games. In addition, chess.com uses software which catches cheaters
