Today the fifth round of 2016 tournament starts.

The matches scheduled in other competitions that are valid for 5th round of our tournament are:

World Cities League: 

Team Zagreb - Team Tabriz
Team Moscow- Team St. Petersburg
Team Berlin - London
all these matches are scheduled to start in a few days in the final round of World Cities League.
 
European cities league:
 
Team Prague - Team Burgas - this match is already open: https://www.chess.com/groups/team_match?id=676734
Team Sevastopol - Team Yekaterinburg - this match is scheduled to start in a few days.
 
 
There is no other purpose behind such pairing but to let the teams better prepare for the matches.
There is absolutely no need to create extra matches between these teams.
 

 

I also have some important remarks:

1) Team  Kerajaan Benteng Siliwangi  has finally found new admins and they wish to play. Why not? Let us be permissive.

I have asked them to arrange missed matches vs Milano from round 3 and Bruxelles from round 4. 

However, if the three matches (including vs Buenos Aires) are not open by the next pairing (end of July), Kerajaan Benteng Siliwangi  participation will end.

2) Team Twente has missed its matches in rounds 3 and 4 - vs Milano and Minsk. Following the rules, I suspend their participation. Their admin should contact me if they wish to continue.

3) The matches Team Babylon - Team Toulouse Occitanie and Team Burgas - Metz the Chess TT Team were not started in the previous 4th round. I suggest that they can be open and started before the next round. At least, the teams that wish to play them need to send challenges and report them in the forum. 

 In round 5 the match settings should be:

 Starting Position: Standard

 Days per move: 3

Players per team: 5

 Concurrent games per opponent: 2

 Start time: 04 July 2016 09:00 AM PST

I am personally very sorry for all unplayed or double matches and other inconveniences, but I am not responsible for them. Please, act consciently and solve the problems with  fellow and opponent admins.
