S4 Week 1 Qualifier Results
Per usual, each of the 5 judges gave every submitted blog a score on a scale of 1-10. We averaged them out and put them in order from highest to lowest average scores. The top 12 have earned a spot in the Season 4 Knockouts, while everyone else will have to hope for better luck in the Week 2 Qualifiers.
Below you can find where you finished and what your average score was. If you are unhappy with your score, don't worry - judges are here to offer helpful feedback if you want it. (Unless your blogs are super low-effort paragraphs or have egregious grammar, then I will place as much effort into my feedback as you do into your blogs.) Don't feel down. Take this experience and learn from it.

here is the bracket:
Congratulations to our top 12 finishers this week! You've all clinched a spot in the Season 4 Knockouts, which will begin on July 22nd. Good for you, you can take a break for a few weeks if you wish. Or you can work ahead and be ready for The Knockouts... up to you!
Some of you might have noticed that you are not on this list, and I have a reason for hopefully all of you.
@skellettton tried to submit too many blogs, and kept changing his submission, which is not allowed.
@adhirajGM2025 tried to change his submission, and deleted his old one.
@AiryUniqueForest admitted to being the alt of @CP264, who was banned for cheating. If this situation is resolved they will be given a second chance.
Also, I really hope to see better from this competition, because this was the weakest week in BlogChamps history. To the top 6 or so, you were fine, but to almost everybody else, it seemed as though it was a competition for last, which Joaquin won with the lowest score (besides Bill) in BlogChamps history. Congrats. As for a few others, (such as Caleb whose status says he's going to win) stay humble. I've found that the worst bloggers are the most arrogant, why? You have people like Albert who'd qualify easily always doubting themselves, participants from past seasons constantly taking advice and trying to better themselves, then you young newbies come in and think you can write 5 sentences with bad grammar and win. It doesn't work like that.
Anyways, I have extended the deadline for next week's submissions, since this week took so long, and we have a break after next week. You will see more information about that once the submissions thread is up. Thank you all, and good luck. (You probably won't need it with the state of the competition)
