The Latest NEWS: India Series And The Updates On The QUADS
Greetings everyone!
In this Announcement, we will exlore:
- The New India Series has been created.
- Update on our Round Robin Tourneys.
- Invite your friends to join our Club!
(1) The "2R 20m +20s INDIA" Series have been created! The first tourney will take place on January 2 at 13:30 UTC. Anyone can participate. It's been named "India" because the tourneys take place at 19:00 IST = 13:30 UTC = 8:30 US ET, while 19:00 is considered as prime time.
How to participate? Nothing could be easier. One gets to the main page of the Club and see "Current Events" We have 3 tournaments each day; one at 00:00 UTC = 19:00 US ET, one at 17:00 UTC = 12:00 US ET and one (INDIA) at 13:30 UTC = 8:30 ET. Note that you can register 1 hour in advance or less. Also, you may join a tournament even after it started and there is no obligation to play the 2nd round after you played in R1.
(2) As the situation evolves, some new ideas have poped up. Thus, not only our Double Round Robin* Tournaments will regroup players with similar skills, those events will also regroup, as much as we can, players whose Time Zones are similar or close. This will greatly ease the process of finding good times to play.

The Quads: (400 - 699), (700 - 999 ), (1000 - 1299), (1300 - 1599), (1600 - 1899), (≥ 1900)
Also, though we call those tourneys "QUADS" (4 players), they may regroup 3, 4, 5 or 6 players. Or we may well regroup 2 sections so that we have a tourney. Let's be flexible in order to make everyone play!
* The Round Robin Formula refers to a certain pairing system. In the RR, you play each of the participants. Thus, in a 4 player event, you play 3 games. Given we hold Double Round Robin tourneys here, you play each players 2 games (W&B), for a total of 6 games.
