Willing to Share one of Your Pet Lines in Chess?
It’s time to tap into the fertile minds of Silverdale Chess Club members! This is an invitation to share a part of your opening repertoire — not all of your secret weapons, but one or two you have been studying and testing out, online or offline. It’s your turn to take center stage with a short, play-by-play presentation.
For Eric Bonow, it might be the notorious Grob opening, for Brandon Hickey, the main strategy, and tactics of the Jobava London, or for yours truly, well, a little knowledge about a variety of classical openings and gambits is a dangerous thing, that I am all too happy to share.
If you have a pet line you would like to put up on the large demo board and explain it to your audience, what you like best about it, one or two of your games, and/or a memorable game from chess history, in a brief, 20-minute lecture, we’d love to see it.
