wording to admins I'm inviting, plus the whole admin/super admin question
Hey, I'm sending this out as a news item. I don't have a great reason for why I am.
The first thing is I have a "form letter" I'll send out to all the groups we talked about asking in. If anyone has issue with the wording, we'll talk about it and I'll fix it. Here it is:
Hi,
I am part of a group that is starting a new vote chess league. We want to know if the groups you admin, as you are an admin of a group, would like to participate in the vote chess league. We are only starting to organize it now, and we want the teams that are in it to have a say in how it is organized, and to come to agreement on how it will work. The advantage to doing this will be that we will have a league where we are all equals, and where we all have equal say in all things.
If this sounds good for your group, I will gladly invite you into the group. If you have any questions, feel free to ask .
Thank you for your time and consideration,
So, that's it.
The other item I want to bring up again is: should everyone be an admin in this group? It would make the "we're all equal" thing more fully equal, which is good. It may not make much difference beyond the gesture it makes, but that might be a lot already. I say yes, but others might not want it. It comes with no more responsibility or work than one would want to do.
