Philosopher Goose?
Hello once again, This is JJMarner and today I am once again going to be talking about a chess bot, but not any bot, but the goose!! Yes they added a goose as a chess bot! To start I am going to list the details about it, then get into my theory.
First of all the bots name is just "Goose" it is 2999 elo, and from Canada (My country ^-^) it came with the "VALENTINES" set of 5 bots, of which Goose is the hardest. It's picture and caption are as follows

Most people from what I see, haven't taken a liking to it, some calling it a lazy add on by chess.com and a "waste of time" While I do think it is really cool! Comment what you think down below : )
Now onto my theory of the bot. I am slightly sad that this isn't a "?" elo bot, as it is fun to try to guess their elo, but you can't always get what you want (but you can try sometimes, and you might get what you need) But the whole story of the bot hasn't been told yet. So as you can see in the title of this post I called it a Philosopher Goose, and that is what I belive it is. You can slightly see that in some of the "chat" (I'm not an old person slandering the word chat in its context, I added the quote marks as its not much of a chat and more of a one sided chat) messages it says a lot of rather "Philosophical" remarks such as
"Ah... the game is afoot. Infinite permutations lie before us, a corridor of endless doors for you and I to enter."
"You draft that noble charge, the knight, into the fracas. Their metal armor may shine agleam now...but you may find our game corrodes even the strongest of alloys."
"A noble steed enters the battleground. His appearance chills the skin. Why...I've got humanbumps."
But then it also says some really weird things among those "Smart remarks" like:
"HONK... Obviously."
"Theoretical HONK."
And then the typical goose HONK HONK HONK and HONK!!!!
I find it strange that the goose says such smart things, such dumb things, and such goose things all in different remarks or the same remarks. Over all the goose may be a Philosopher, or just a 200IQ goose, that is up to chess.com to decide.
