Slow Swiss 3: Game #1

So, the Slow Swiss is another type of tournament organised by the Dan Heisman Learning Centre, they really do tireless work over there! Split into multiple rating sections, the idea is basically a 5 round Swiss, 1 game each week, 45|45 time controls.

My first round game was against Moritex, who significantly outrated me, and had the White pieces. It was a good game, but the draw slipped from my grasp as I misevaluated the endgame. A very instructive ending.

This was a great game, I certainly learnt some things from this! I thought I played rather well overall, but Moritex was on his game, constantly pushing for the win, and in the end, I made one too many inaccuracies. Congrats to him, and thanks for reading!
