University vs. Morecambe Knights

The last match of the season for Lancaster University in the league - this was a top of the table clash against Morecambe Knights! We had to win the match to win the league - a draw would see the Knights crowned champions on game points.

My game was unusually complicated and with some really interesting ideas - it's not every day I fianchetto my queen at move 9! Time controls were 80 minutes for all moves.

An exhausting game, but also one which could have gone on longer if we had the time! My opponent said 80 minutes wasn't long enough for a game like this - I agreed.

Still, with a 3.5-0.5 match victory, we won the league! Yay us. There's no prize.
