New Rules
(valid from SEASON 2026 on)
- 3 days per move
- 2 matches each opponent (white / black)
- Round Robin System
- Every 3 month the next opponent matches
- Databases like OPENING EXPLORER and books or you tube videos are allowed to use
- Every admin and member is allowed to play in as much VC matches as he likes. No limits.
- Keep track of your matches - once lost by timeout it counts as a loss.
- Condition for a team to join a season is: 2 finished VC matches (losses by timeout do not count).
- 1 player only - Vote Chess is a Team play! If in a season 2 VC matches or more were played by only 1 player , this club is excluded the next season as it is very frustrating for opponent teams to play only versus 1 member.
- Timeouts - If a team has lost 3 or more matches by timeout, this team is excluded from next season.
- Strikes - 2 strikes are tolerated, 3 strikes lose the current season and result in 0 points for all matches, also the played ones. All opponents (of that division ) will get 2 points. (strike = single challenge not accepted and/or created)
- Withdrawal of a club lose the current season and result in 0 points for all matches, also the played ones. All opponents (of that division ) will get 2 points.
