Improve your chess with 3 apps

I'm including these three apps in my students' training.

These aren't the only apps we use, but at some determined point, they are helpful if you know how to use them. Best part? All of them are free.

1. Chessbook

It allows you to create your opening repertoire from scratch + helps you to repeat moves.

In my program, I teach sharp openings like the scotch gambit, and it's essential to have a place where you can study your lines and repeat the key moves. A chess book works like a second brain to store your openings—it's a game changer.

2. Opening tree

It allows you to study any opponent.

If you are playing a tournament and know your next rival's username, you can study his games.

Also, it allows you to see your openings and see what openings cause you more trouble so you can adapt and improve them. Another game changer

3. Chesstempo (tactics)

This one is quite popular, but most people don't know how to make the most of it.

I like chess tempo tactics since it allows you to work on specific themes. All you need to do is go to the "change set" option > themes & motifs > tactical motifs. From there, you can practice tactics in chunks of 30 minutes.

It's very simple.

If you want to improve your chess, I highly recommend these apps.

Let me know in the comments what apps you use to train chess.
