Crossing 2100 USCF!

Hi! Welcome back to my blog. Around two months ago I crossed 2100 USCF after being stuck in the 2000s for over a year. I played a tournament with 3 rounds only open to people over 2000. My rating before the tournament was 2086, so I just needed 14 points. Let's get into the games.

Round 1

I played pretty well in that game. After I won the pawn, it was pretty equal, but he blundered in time pressure at the end.
Round 2
I did not play well at all that game. He played a line that I did not know and got a nice position.
Round 3
I would have to win the last round to cross 2100. I was ready to push for the win even in a worse position.
I won in a must-win situation to cross 2100. It felt very good to finally cross 2100. My rating went from 2086 to 2105 in this tournament. Since this tournament, I have increased my rating to 2139. Thanks for reading my blog.
