My favorite 4 Player Chess user is GM Nihal Sarin

Throughout the years I have seen many players from young to old enjoy battling it out in 4 Player Chess. A friend asked me today, Who is your favorite 4PC player? The young Indian GM came to mind. I have seen him play Standard Free For All as well as many Custom Variants but what I am most impressed with is that he has mastered the Standard Teams version and is now #11 on the 4PC Leaderboard.

Yes, there are many more players that are more experienced or have a higher rating but my friend asked me and Nihal is my answser.

Although it’s very rare to see him live I have had the privilege to catch him when monitoring the 4PC game server and his games are always exciting to watch. Especially his hyperbullet games of which no video is found (If you know of any please comment below). Hopefully he streams or records those hyperbullet games one day for our viewing pleasure.

Nihal recently won the Junior Speed Chess Championship and earned his spot in the 2020 Speed Chess Championship Main Event. I wish you the best of luck and I will be rooting for you!
