How to reach 1000 elo

I have seen some interesting graph about the average elo of the chess community and many people are still below 1000 so here are some tips

1. Learn basic tactics such as forks, pins, skewers, etc and how these tactics ca led to a positional or material advantage.

2. Learn trap openings like the wayward queen attack or fried liver and how to counter them, along with that learn a solid opening that you like.

3. Watch Gotham chess

4. Maintain a proper balance between studying and playing chess 

5. Learn basic endgames, like how to push a single pawn with a king against a king

6. learn these 3 checkmates: The Queen and King mate, The 2 rooks mate, the rook and king mate

7. Hang around and play people who are a few levels ahead of you.

This tips will not guarantee getting to 1000 bu will help you reach that goal
