How to get introspection achievement (+Silicon brain too)
I kept reading about how to get the introspection achievement, but I felt it was confusing. Once I finally found out how, I felt I wanted to explain it better. So, here's how to get it. For this, I'm using the membership version (with the membership) but if you don't want to then if you still haven't used your free trial then I would try to get this achievement once you have it. And maybe even do a bunch of puzzles for puzzle machine and do the drills for silicon brain, since you need premium to get them all.
Introspection:
First, you need to find the explorer. Go to the side menu where you see Play, Puzzles, and Learn. People say to go to Learn and to explorer, but I have found it in More, Other, and you'll find it there. If you don't find it in Learn, do the More, Other... way. Click on explorer. You'll be brought to something that shows a chessboard and a menu on the right side. Look for where it says Master games or if you used the explorer before, My Games, Other players, or All Chess.com Games. You want it on My Games. Now do you know how to use the analysis board? If you know, you should know the place where it shows the best moves for the side that's turn it is, and it shows 3 or less (Depending on how many legal moves there are) best moves. If you can't find that, look around on the right side of the place and look for some things that show "+number" or "-number", and then look to the right more to see moves. Now click on the move closest to the number in the box (the ones that could say +0.34 or something) and do this for at least 5 moves. Then the achievement should show up.
Silicon brain:
Silicon brain is an achievement where you do all the drills. Many people get confused about Silicon brain. You also need a membership for this achievement. Go to the sidebar and click on More and then Train, then Practice. Now it should say 4 things. Master Games, Openings, Drills, and Custom Position. Ignore Custom Position. You have to complete everything within Master Games, Openings, and Drills. Yes, it's a lot. But you can just make 1 random move and exit the... let's say, drill, and it still counts as you doing it. It should take you at most 2 hours. It's annoying you can't get Silicon Brain without a membership. But life unfortunately ain't fair.
