Chess.com Elo-Rating levels
Hi , have you ever been interested in what is a good and a bad elo in chess.com?
Well , if the answer is yes , i will explain in detail that topic in this blog , make sure to leave a like and follow me to se my future publications !
Lets begin with the begginer level , 100-600 Elo
In this rating , the players play without a clear strategy or plan and often try to checkmate their opponents as fast as posible with the schoolars mate. If you are at this rating and you want to improve , make as much puzzles as you can and learn a simple but good opening in which you feel comfortable with the plans
After that there we have the Advanced Begginer , 600-1200 Elo
Here is the mayority of chess.com players , (average chess.com rating 600-700) in this ratings the players enjoy playing a lot of games instead of learning new things of the game , some titled players may say that you shouldnt do that ,but from my personal experience (i went from 200 to 1800 in 1 year) if you play rapid games , and adfter you finish you analize it and learn from your mistakes you will improve very quickly .
Intermediate level players , 1200-1600 Elo
Here is where the players start to take chess more seriously , you wont see 1 move blunders , they play with a plan (can be bad but , is a plan) If you are at this rating and want to improve , check chess.com lessons , there are hundreds of lessons from top players in opening , middlegame and endgame training that you can enjoy
Early Advanced players , 1600 - 2000 Elo
They already know everything i have mentioned before , but the little mistakes and innacuracies still loses them the game , to improve at this level you should play , study masters games and strategy , do puzzles , read chess books , and anything else you can do , at this level it wont be easy to improve , but not impossible!
Expert playes , 2000-2200
Here are the players who are trying to become titled , they only lose games by posicional innacuracies or little tactics that lose a pawn , at this level , one little pawn move can lose you the game
Master 2200-Magnus Carlsen
They know everything about chess , sometimes in master tournaments , the opening preparation that leaves them in a position with advantage might win the game .
