Introduction

Hello, in this blog, I'll be stating the names of Celebrities who have played chess in the past or currently play it. I'm only going to be listing the ones who have played it as a hobby. e. Now, let's begin!

Madonna - singer 'queen of pop'

I don't expect many people to know Madonna because she was more popular in the 80s but yeah. "Madonna is an avid chess player who used to play with her ex Guy Ritchie. Tutored by Scottish chess champion Alan Norris, she has amassed 19,000 games in the Internet Chess Club." - Chess forum on Twitter.

Sadly, I was unable to find any of Madonna's chess games due to my school device's site restrictions but I did find this,  

I believe Madonna ‎made‎‎‎‎ a music video and that's where the image came from. The song the music video was made for is called 'Goodbye'. 

Albert Einstein - theoretical physicist

Albert Einstein was well-known for his contributions to the field of physics.

During the game, Einstein would have used the Ruy Lopez opening, which Oppenheimer responded with the Morphy Defense (3...a6).
