The King or the Queen?

Which do you think is the most important piece in the game -- the King or the Queen? I think it is the King because without him there is no point in chess. The objective of chess is to put the King in checkmate, but doesn't the Queen do most of the work? I mean she is able to move like every piece except for a Knight while the King is limited to one space per move. I find it hard to believe some people won't give up their Queen and would rather lose the game if it meant giving up their Queen. King or Queen, I'll let you decide.
