What's the Big Idea?

Do you know of those people who go on vacation or wait for the time to expire whenever you start to take the lead. Why don't they just let their opponent beat them and not let the time run out just because they don't won't to lose. This has happened to me a few times and I don't appreciate it. Accept defeat and move on, there are plenty of other games out there. I don't like to lose either but I can't always win and neither can they, they'll lose eventually.     Another thing is why do they turn their chat off during a chess game. I think it is rude to turn it off when other people are trying to be firendly.
