The Queen's Silent Scream-
She was everywhere, all-seeing, all-powerful. The Queen. Her presence was a suffocating blanket, every square a potential threat. Elias felt her eyes on him from every angle, her silent scream echoing in his mind. She didn't move with the clatter of a Knight or the thud of a Rook. She glided, a phantom of destruction, her reach infinite, her power absolute. He tried to hide his King, to shield it with pawns and pieces, but she was already there, her shadow falling over him. It wasn't a physical attack he feared, but the psychological terror of her omnipresence, the knowledge that no matter where he ran, she would find him, her silent, all-encompassing threat driving him to madness.
