My Opinion On The 4 Move Checkmate
MY OPINION ON 4 MOVE CHECKMATE
I think that the 4 move checkmate is a beginner's mistake trying to make you fall for an easy trap. If you can do it you have a 10% chance of the black side falling for it. The 4 move check mate is also called Scholars mate. e4. e5. bc4. kc6. qh5. kf6. qf7#. When I played chess I will always do the 4 move checkmate. At that time I did not know the openings I know today, well I knew the Italian game but very little. Whenever I would play people with 200-350 Elo out of 20 games there will be a Scholars mate. To conclude, by my personal experiances I will conclude that in my opinion you should not use the 4 move checkmate. If you want to bring out your queen early just use the Wayward queen attack.
