Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing great. Today I got the idea to write about a few books that I read during my study time and would highly recommend to everyone. Many players struggle with selecting the appropriate books for their level. The current book list is very interesting and is based on pattern recognition. There are over 100 patterns that you will learn if you read all of the recommended books, and the patterns will be both positional and dynamic.

List of the books:

1. Chess Pattern Recognition for Beginners

This book teaches the most important patterns you need to master in order to develop and mobilize your pieces, maneuver  your pawns into positions of strength, put pressure on your opponent, attack the enemy king, or execute standard sacrifices to get the initiative. Ambitious beginners and post-beginners who study this book will soon experience a significant improvement in their results.

You can buy this book from Amazon  or on Chessable

2. Improve Your Chess Pattern Recognition

After working with this book you will experience something wonderful: your mind and memory will be triggered much easier and more frequently. An increasing number of positions, pawn structures and piece placements will automatically activate your chess knowledge. As a result, you will simply find the right move more often and more quickly!

You can buy this book from Amazon or on Chessable.

3. Train your Chess Pattern Recognition

After working with this book, an increasing number of positions, pawn structures and piece placements will automatically activate your chess knowledge. As a result, you will find the right move more often and more quickly!

You can buy this book from Amazon or on Chessable.

4. Techniques of Positional Play: 45 Practical Methods to Gain the Upper Hand in Chess

This one is my favorite and the classic one! Techniques from positional play covers a lot of not very well known mini-strategies, or some deeper parts or fragments of well known chess strategies. Fairly easy to follow considering the deep concepts and lots of examples.

You can buy this book from Amazon

I hope the list of books I provided above will be extremely helpful to you. I read all of the above books several times and noticed a significant improvement in my overall game. My teammate (an IM) read the final one 20 times!!!

Now it's your turn to improve your overall game and reach the intermediate level as soon as possible. The great thing about these books is that they are so simple to grasp and so fun to study.
