Best piece apart from the queen in chess

For me apart from the queen my favourite piece is the knight. Let me tell you why!

1. Knights are brilliant at material winning forks.

2. Knights are some of the only pieces that can always evade an attack [ even from a queen]!

3. Knights starting squares are crucial at controlling center squares.
