Damiano's mate!

Pedro Damiano published this mate in 1512 about 500 years ago. The position for this checkmate do not come often, but it is very good to know about this master mate!  For this mate you have to sacrifice both your white rooks on the empty h8 square, in a pose of the rook sacrifices is threefold. A line is opened for the white queen along the first rank, on h1, and the black king is stuck on the h file.
